Yam Baba Return Policy?

If for any reason you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a flexible return policy to ensure that you can continue shopping with confidence. Our goal is to make your shopping experience with us as smooth and hassle-free as possible.

Return window

Yambaba.com offers 7 days hassle-free return policy, we won’t entertain your claim once 7 days return policy period gone past.

In order to claim 7 days return policy, However, we don't currently offer an exchange service. you need to keep certain factors in mind. 

Condition of Returned Products

A.  Products must be in their original packaging (same rapper/box) with all components and accessories included.

B.  We can’t accept return for used, washed modified or unlabeled products.

C.  we can't accept returns for products with quality problems caused by unauthorized repair, misuse, collision, improper installation, or use. Product must be unused and neat and clean in condition

D.  All return request must be approved by yam baba customer service team. Returned items without approval from yam baba will not be accepted.

E.  Categories don’t support free returns as follow:

1.   Please note that some products If you open like underwear, swimwear, leggings, and lingerie you won't be able to return them.

2.   Please note that some products, like beauty items, may undergo changes in quality after unpacking.

3.   Some products like luxury goods, jewelry and accessories may experience a significant drop in value after unpacking or use

4.   If you open electronic items like mobile phones, smartwatches, audio-visual products, computer software, or iPads, you won't be able to return them.

There are certain products which are perishable by nature, for example: food, natural flowers, temperature items, newspapers or magazines.

5. Birthday, Anniversary Presents and Gift Cards

6. Downloadable Products (In Soft)

7. Health & Personal Care.

To claim 7 days return policy, we do require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Partial refunds are allowed in under-noted products:-

1. Book with obvious signs of use

2. CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.

3. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

4. Any item that is returned after 7 days from the delivery date.

Refunds (if applicable)

At receipt of the returned product, we do check it properly and let the customers know about the approval or rejection of return claim by email, message or whatsapp.

Honored Claim:

If your returned claim is honored, we will process it, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card, bank account transfer, PayPal, stripe or other method of payment if any, within 24-48 hours time.

Delay in refunds (if any):

If your claim is honored and you didn’t get notified of the refunds, then do the following steps before approaching to us:

1. Check your bank account statement.

2. Contact helpline of your credit card provider / bank.

3. Check your phone messages regarding any message / intimation from PayPal/stripe regarding receipt of funds.

Refund Criteria for Sale Items:

Customers can claim only regular priced items only. Unfortunately we do not honor sale priced items return claims.

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Shipper address which is duly mentioned on each parcel you received.

You will pay the shipping costs of returning/sending us your purchased product. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Please note: In case of return claim, we will less our courier charges and refund you remaining amount via bank transfer, PayPal or stripe.

If you are returning a product which’s value is over AED.100/- make sure you consider using a track-able courier service or try availing product shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item, that’s responsibility totally laid on the shipping company you choose.

Return reasons:

If you receive an item in poor quality or damaged, Yam Baba will provide you with the option to return the item or receive a refund based on the condition of the item.

If a customer receives a fake item, they have the right to either return it or receive a refund if the item is non-returnable.

If a customer doesn't want to provide pictures using a measurement scale for clothes or shoes, they can still return the item.

How to return?

Return Process:

1. Submit the return request via yam baba App: Account -My orders - Shipped; Find the order that you want to submit After-sale;

2.   Choose the Reason and Upload the proof picture into the Application request;

3.   We will Audit your application and give you a satisfying solution within 24-48H.

4.   You also can track the refund progress via yam baba App: Account -After sale;

When submit the return request on yam baba App, yam baba will request the information to confirm the problem (Refund reason and upload the proof picture).

If the return request is approved, yam baba Customer Service will provide the return address. However, if the information provided is incomplete or incorrect, yam baba has the right to refuse the return request. Customers can resubmit the return request with complete information.

Return Method:

Once yam baba approves the return request, they will contact the customer to confirm reshipping information and method as below.

UAE Customers: At the moment, we only offer self-return and don't have a Door-to-Door pick up service.

customer can select an appropriate shipping company to reship your product based on the address provided by Yam Baba customer service.

Remember that Yam Baba does not allow customers to visit the warehouse directly without shipping the package through a shipping company.

To make sure the package is delivered to the right address on time, please fill in the reshipping address completely. If the package is delivered to the wrong or incomplete address, Yam Baba may refuse to provide a refund.

Reship cost for the products:

(1) Customer reason: Reship cost is afforded by customer.

once Yam Baba confirms the request, the customer will be responsible for the reshipping cost, including the shipping and vat fees. After Yam Baba receives the returned products, the original product price will be refunded, but all shipping fees are non-refundable.

(2) Yam baba Reason: Reship is afforded by yam baba

If Yam Baba confirms that the return request is caused by Yam Baba, then Yam Baba will be responsible for the reshipping cost. The maximum compensation for the shipping fee is 50 AED.

Note:

·        Customer should pay the shipping fee in advance when reshipping the product

·        If the item is reshipped to our warehouse, Yam Baba will refund the customer within 7-10 working days.

·        If the customer paid online, they will receive a refund in their bank account within 1-3 business days.

·        If the customer's original payment method was Cash on Delivery, they will receive the amount of the returned items in their wallet on our Yam baba application.

Please note that the customer can withdraw the amount to their bank account through the steps below:

1- Click on my account.

2- Choose my wallet

3- Select pending balance

4- Fill the amount that you want to withdraw.

5- Fill bank info - approve (Withdraw)

Please note that the amount will take 1-3 Business days to be transferred to your bank account, provided that your submitted information was complete and correct.

Return policy for online payment in the Yam Baba sector

If you make a payment online using PayPal, Debit or Credit Card, you'll receive a 3% payment discount. If you request a return, the payment will be reimbursed after deducting any applied coupons or discounts. The courier charges for returns will apply based on the return policy. If the product doesn't match the description or is damaged during delivery, you won't have to pay return charges. However, if you're returning the product due to personal preference or a size change, you'll need to cover the return charges. Any frozen discount offers or coupons will be considered when calculating the refundable amount.
